Exceptions & Exclusions
Of course, every policy has its limits. Here are a few exceptions and exclusions to keep in mind when making a return:
Non-returnable items include outboard motors, trolling motors, EPIRBs, boats, SPOT, life rafts, PLBs, Class B AIS, items with expiration dates, custom-made or special-order items, rigging, generators, electronic charts, mattresses, flares, hazardous items, licenses, and gift cards. If any of these items are proven defective, you will need to deal directly with the manufacturer for returns or exchanges.
Certain items, such as electronics, skateboards, bikes, software, bedding, canoes, tents, drones, and kayaks, can be returned within 30 days if unopened and unused. After 30 days, any defective products must be handled directly with the manufacturer.
Clearance and Outlet items are sold “as is” and cannot be returned at any time.
Once an item is installed, Seaflo Kayak cannot accept a return or exchange. In case of defects, you must handle returns or exchanges directly with the manufacturer.
Returns on items purchased with a promotional discount will be prorated. The value of the discount, free product, or gift card will be deducted from the reimbursement for items returned. Free gift promotions only allow for exchanges if the item is damaged or defective, and replacement products are available. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or applied to a previous purchase.
